You’ve probably heard about God’s love letter. He has written a love letter to you.
It is found in the Bible.
It reminds us of a message in a bottle sliding over waves.
He says, “I have loved you with an everlasting love. Therefore I have drawn you with lovingkindness” (Jer. 31:3).
God’s love is revealed in His Son Jesus Christ. As I John 4:10 says: “In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.” John expresses the wonder of God’s love in I John 3:1. “See how great a love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God!”
Jesus was given to us in a manger in Bethlehem. As John also said. “God loved us so much that He gave His only Son” to die for our sins. So if we believe in Jesus, we will not perish but have eternal life (John 3:16; 20:31; I John 5:11-13).
We thank you, Father, for your indescribable gift to us (II Cor. 9:15). This gift is your Son Jesus Christ. As the Bible says. “Unto us a child is born, a son is given. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace” (Isa. 9:6).So, have you received God’s gift of love? You will find it in Jesus. He is near you and hears your prayer. Receive Him now. And know that your sins are forgiven.
Jesus is the most beautiful person you will ever know. He says, “Come to Me, all you who labor and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart. And you will find rest for your souls” (Matt. 11:28,29).
Read God’s love letter. And you will find His love.
In the face of Jesus.
